Essential oil of MINT CHAMPS 10 ML THE CHATELARD

Latin name: Mentha arvensis

Distilled body: Flowering plant

Manufacture: Traditional distillation by steam distillation. With 100 kg of plants, we obtain about 2.5 kg of essential oil.

Botany: Like its peppermint cousin, Field Mint grows in our gardens, but also in ditches, swamps and wet meadows, and it is often difficult to get rid of them. With its characteristic oval and hairy leaves, it is nevertheless the aerial parts, with the flowers that are picked and distilled.
Tonic, the essential oil of Mint is ideal for diffusion, mixed with other oils to invigorate body and mind. Refreshing, the essential oil of Mint encourages respiration. Its soothing assets make the essential oil of Wild Mint an asset to help soothe itching.

What does a MINT CHAMPS essential oil look like? Appearance: clear moving liquid (crystallizes at low temperature) / Color: colorless to pale yellow / Odor: minty and strong

Its properties:
Analgesic, anesthetic
Anti cephalic: this essential oil effectively fights headaches
Hypertensive: menthol specifically allows, by its vasoconstrictor action, to increase the arterial pressure.
Decongest the mucous membranes: this essential oil helps to release the respiratory tract. Menthol is particularly opposed to the constriction of the bronchi and facilitates breathing by providing a feeling of freshness.
Stimulating hepatogastric: the essential oil of Field Mint facilitates digestion and promotes optimal functioning of the liver.
Antacid: This essential oil helps neutralize stomach acids and gastroesophageal reflux.
Antibacterial: menthol prevents the development of bacteria

Recommended use:
In massage:
Bronchitis, respiratory infection, oily cough: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the back and the arch.
Blocking of the solar plexus, spasmophily to be diluted in a vegetable oil to massage the solar plexus
Joint appeasement: Mixed in your oily preparation. To apply locally your mixture in light massages on the zone concerned and of localized way (very powerful refrigerating effect).

In diffusion: It is not necessary to diffuse this pure essential oil: to dilute between 10 and 15% in other essential oils. Do not use in OLFACTION
Refresh the atmosphere: In atmospheric diffusion, in synergy with other essential oils
Anxiety, depression, nervousness, spasmophilia, stress

Contraindication: Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. This oil is abortive

Do not use in children under 6 years
Be sure to seek medical advice before use for asthmatics.
Be sure to dilute the essential oil of Mint Field 15% in a vegetable oil before any cutaneous application (15% of essential oil for 85% of vegetable oil).
It has a cooling action if applied over a large area.
In diffusion: It is not necessary to diffuse this pure essential oil: to dilute between 10 and 15% in other essential oils.

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
