Exotic Verbena essential oil 10 ML LE CHATELARD

Latin name: Litsea cubeba, or Litsea citrata

Distilled organ: Walnuts and leaf

Manufacturing: The essential oil is obtained by distillation of nuts and leaves. With 100 kg of plants we get about 3 to 5 kg of essential oil.

Origin: Asia

Botany: The lemony bed is an evergreen tree with simple leaves. The fruits are small and fleshy.
Exotic Verbena is a small tree that thrives in the tropics. Top of a small meter, its lush foliage green firecracker gives off a most pleasant smell. Since its discovery in Asia, the Exotic Verbena seduced by its acidulous and lemony scent. It is widely used in cosmetics, perfumes or soothing lotions. As for the cuisine, it is part of the preparation of many teas for its lemony and fresh scent. Ideal for bringing serenity, calmness and peace of mind to homes, Western Chinese make bouquets of dried flowers to place in every room of their home! They also use it in relaxing massage oils and to help ward off evil spirits.

What does an essential oil of LISTEE CITRONNEE look like? Appearance: liquid / Color: pale yellow to dark yellow / Odor: fresh, citral and fruity.

Its properties:
Calming nervous: the essential oil of Exotic Verbena has a calming and sedative action on the central nervous system. It is effective in case of sleep disorders and energy loss.

Anti-inflammatory and analgesic: it is very effective on joint and muscular pains, and inflammations.
Antiviral: the essential oil of Exotic Verbena destroys the viruses responsible especially for cold sores.

Recommended use:
In massage:
Cellulite, circulation disorder: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the area concerned.
 
Difficult digestion: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the abdomen after the meal.
Pain and inflammation of the joints and muscles: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the painful area.

Soothing and optimizing massage: Mixed in your oily preparation. Apply your mixture in friction on the solar plexus or on the inside of the wrists, twice a day.

In broadcast:
Difficult sleep: in diffusion mixed with other essential oils mandarin, true lavender for example

Contraindication: Lemon tea essential oil must be highly diluted for cutaneous use because it stains and irritates the skin. A skin test must be performed. It should not be confused with the essential oil of lemon verbena.

This essential oil is dermocaustic and irritating to the skin, so it is necessary to dilute it in a vegetable oil before any application (10% essential oil with 90% vegetable oil).

Do not broadcast pure: dilute between 20 and 60% in other essential oils.

The use of this essential oil can cause a high dose and long-term risk of hepatotoxicity.
 
The citrals it contains make it an essential oil irritating to the skin and the respiratory tract, dermocaustic and allergenic. It can still be used dermally and diffusion but diluted.

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
