ASPIC ORGANIC LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL 10 ML

Latin name: Lavandula latifolia

Distilled body: flowered top.

Manufacture: traditional distillation by steam distillation. It takes about 100 kg of lavender aspic flowers to produce 500 g of essential oil.

Botany: Aspic lavender, from the Lamiaceae family, is a wild shrub that can reach nearly one meter in height and growing in the Mediterranean regions, particularly in France and Spain. Its leaves sometimes reach 10 cm in length and the flowers, of violet color, grow in ears. Its particular smell comes from its high content of camphor. Lavender aspic is distinguished from true lavender by its origin and by its biochemical composition. Spike lavender grows abundantly in France in the wild. It has been called aspic as the snake whose bites it treats and which also haunts the sunny scrublands. It has irreplaceable qualities for everyday emergencies. What does a LAVANDE ASPIC essential oil look like? Appearance: mobile liquid / Color: colorless to pale yellow / Odor: floral, fresh and camphoric.

Its properties: The essential oil of lavender aspic is very useful and effective to cure mosquito bites and insects. It is also essential to soothe burns.
- Cutaneous analgesic: the essential oil of Lavande Aspic calms the pain due to various aggressions of the skin (sting wasp jellyfish, even severe burns).
- Antibacterial, antifungal: the essential oil of Lavande Aspic is particularly effective on the germ of Staphylococcus aureus.
- Anti-inflammatory: the essential oil of Lavande Aspic avoids inflammations resulting from attacks that the skin undergoes (bites, burns ...).
- Exceptional restorative and regenerating healing agent Purifying and purifying skin
- Stimulating the immune
- Fights joint and muscle pain (osteoarthritis, cramps, rheumatoid arthritis)
- Helps fight against mental rigidity and lack of tolerance

Recommended use:

In massage:
- Skin problem (dermatitis, eschar, cutaneous mycosis, insect and plant sting, pruritus, etc.): dilute in a vegetable oil and apply to the affected area.
- Headache, contracture, cramp, rheumatoid arthritis: dilute in a vegetable oil and massage the area concerned.
- Sunburn dilute in a vegetable oil and massage the areas concerned.

Dermal
- Acne: apply a pure drop directly on the acne pimple
- Superficial burn: apply a few pure drops directly on the affected area.
- Migraine (temples): apply 1 pure drop and massage.
- Sunburn and severe burn: 1 to 5 pure drops on the burn (depending on the extent), every 1/4 hour after appearance of the burn, then 3 times a day, until disappearance
- Bites of poisonous animals (spiders, horsefly, august): after cleaning and drying the wound, apply a few pure drops on the bite. To renew regularly on the day.

Contraindication :

Do not use in pregnant or lactating women
Do not use in children under 6 years
The presence of ketones and camphor makes it neurotoxic. On the other hand, it is usable by all the routes of administration, with however a particular attention in cutaneous application.
People allergic to linalool should be extra vigilant because this essential oil contains nearly 50%.
People with asthma should seek medical advice before use.
Lavender Aspic essential oil contains several biochemical allergenic components
It is not advisable to take medicine simultaneously with this essential oil.
This essential oil can be used pure on small surfaces, in the case of a large surface it must be diluted to 20% in a vegetable oil.
If you use this essential oil too often and for too long, there is a risk of allergies.

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
