ORGANIC GENEVRIER ESSENTIAL OIL 10 ML

Latin name: Juniperus var. communis.

Distilled organ: Berries.

Manufacture: traditional distillation by training with steam. It takes 100 kg of juniper berries to get 200 to 400 gr of essential oil.

Origin: France / Eastern Europe

Botany: Juniper is a tree with cones whose scales are completely welded together. Juniper is a shrub of the family Cupressaceae that can be found in the mountainous regions and heaths of the entire Northern Hemisphere. Especially common in Europe, this tree produces fruits called juniper berries. You should know that these berries take two years to reach maturity. The use of juniper berries goes back at least to ancient Egypt, to cure arthritis, gout and all rheumatic diseases. They have also served, and still serve, aromatising alcohols such as gin, which takes its name from the plant, and schiedam, a brandy made in the Netherlands and Belgium.

What does an essential oil of GENEVRIER look like? Appearance: mobile liquid / Color: colorless to light yellow / Odor: balsamic, sweet.

Its properties:
- Diuretic (eliminates problems of water retention, promotes thinning).
- Antirheumatic, it promotes the excretion of renal toxins and uric acid.
- Anti-inflammatory (reduces inflammation). At the joints
- Draining, it promotes the elimination of water.
- Astringent and purifying.
- Meditation: Put 10 drops of juniper in your diffuser. Discover its delicate perfume and its relaxing and positive virtues .. By beaches of 30min maximum.

Recommended use:
- In massage: Acne, dermatitis, skin infection, skin problem: dilute in a vegetable oil and apply to the area to be treated. 2 to 4 drops diluted in 15 ml of a neutral vegetable oil, massage the lower abdomen.
- Osteoarthritis, body aches, rheumatism: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the painful area
- Cellulite: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the area to be treated.
- Feet tired: dilute in a neutral base for a foot bath.

Oral: 1 to 2 drops diluted in 1 teaspoon of honey or vegetable oil, 1 to 3 times a day.

- In diffusion: It has many well-being properties: It promotes the circulation of energy. It frees our will to act and restores confidence, helps to confront conflicts and restores energy
(This is the essential oil associated with the chakra of the head: Sahasrana, its color is violet.

In the kitchen add 1 to 2 drops of juniper at the end of cooking (mixed in a tablespoon of oil) for meat and poultry.

Contraindication :
- Do not use in pregnant or lactating women
- Do not use in children under 6 years
- The use of this essential oil must be done at low dose and for a short time.
- The essential oil of Juniper tree is forbidden in case of hormone-dependent cancer (breast, ovary, uterus, prostate)
 
- It is prohibited in case of renal insufficiency: orally the essential oil of Juniper has a nephrotoxicity in case of overdose and prolonged use.
Be sure to seek medical advice before use for people with asthma and epilepsy (high-dose epileptogen).

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
