Wild orange essential oil 10 ML LE CHATELARD

Latin name: Citrus sinensis

Distilled body: fresh zest.

Manufacture: cold expression. It takes 100 kg of zest for 200 to 400 g of essential oil.

Origin: Costa Rica / Italy.

Botanical: The orange tree is a fruit bush grown in the Mediterranean countries. It has thorny branches and long leaves. Its fruit is sweet orange, not to be confused with bitter orange. The purifying and odorous properties of this essence have been used for a long time since clove oranges ("amber apples") have traditionally been used to keep moths away from the cupboards, to perfume and decorate homes before Christmas. This oil is also ancestral for its relaxing and optimizing action with its sweet and sweet scent. It is one of the most used essential oils in aromatherapy.Its fresh and pleasant note in fact an essential oil much appreciated in perfumery, in colognes for example and in the food industry, to flavor many dishes
Sweet orange essential oil should not be confused with bitter orange essential oil.

What does an ORANGE DOUCE essential oil look like? : Appearance: liquid may become turbid by lowering of temperature / Color: yellow to orange / Odor: sweet, fruity and zesty.

Its properties:
- Atmospheric antiseptic: Sweet Orange essential oil, is bactericidal, antifungal and antiviral. It acts in particular on fungi responsible for pulmonary infections and it disinfects the ambient air. A use in atmospheric diffusion is therefore particularly recommended.
- Calming and sedative: Sweet Orange essential oil calms stress, and helps to relax, thanks to its spasmolytic, anxiolytic and sleep-promoting action. - - Facilitates digestion: it relieves nausea, prevents gastric hyperacidity by neutralizing certain acids, it promotes the expulsion of intestinal gas.

Recommended use:
In massage:
- Bloating, digestion difficult, indigestion, nausea: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the belly and the soles of the feet.
- Chronic constipation: dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the abdomen. Internally after consultation with a therapist.

In diffusion, inhalation or olfaction: 10-30 drops according to the volume of the room; by a maximum of 30 minutes.
- Broadcast: in the living room or bedroom, before going to bed.
- Well-being, relaxation; agitation, insomnia, anxiety, depression,
- Epidemic: in diffusion to clean the atmosphere.
- Convalescence, infectious episodes: diffusion and olfaction.

- In cutaneous application:
- Oily hair, dull hair, dandruff: dilute 2 drops of sweet orange essential oil in the shampoo.
- In the kitchen: The sweet orange essential oil is a fabulous food flavor, which brings a fruity note of citrus to all types of sweet or savory preparations:

Contraindication :
- Do not use in pregnant or lactating women
- Do not use in children under 3 years
The essential oil of sweet orange is photosensitizing; so do not expose yourself to the sun within hours of application.
Be sure to seek medical advice before use for people with asthma. The essential oil of sweet orange is very allergenic
Seek medical advice before use for people with epilepsy because of the high-dose epileptogenic risk of this essential oil.
The sweet orange essential oil is irritating to the skin, so it must be diluted to 20% in a vegetable oil before any cutaneous application (20% of essential oil and 80% of vegetable oil).
Oral sweet orange essential oil should not be used for gallstones.
Do not use for a long time in case of functional renal failure.

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
