ORGANIC SCLAREE ESSENTIAL OIL 10 ML

Latin name: Salvia sclarea

Distilled body: flowered top.

Manufacture: traditional distillation by training with steam. It takes about 100 kg of flowering plants to get 180 g clary sage essential oil.

Origin: France / Ukraine.

Botany: Clary sage is a biennial herbaceous plant. It grows naturally in Russia, southern Europe and western Asia and can reach 1.60 m in height. It is particularly fragrant and has large oval-shaped leaves. The flowers, white, pale blue or lilac, are bell-shaped. It is a very decorative plant that grows easily in cool, light soils and sunny exposure.
The clary sage essential oil should not be confused with the essential oil of sage that is sold only on prescription because it is tricky to use.

What does a SCLAREE SAUGE essential oil look like? Appearance: liquid / Color: colorless to yellow-brown / Odor: herbaceous, tabaceous and hints of hay.

Its properties:
- Antifungal (fungal infections)
- Antispasmodic Clary Sage essential oil is particularly effective on digestive and intestinal spasms, muscle cramps and contractures.
- Regulatory skin regulator of transpiration and secretion of sebum +
- Regulator of the blood circulation
- Regulator of menstrual cycles
- Sexual tonic
- Relaxing nervous: it fights stress, anxiety and sleep disorders.

Recommended use: The essential oil of clary sage should be used with care, because it has a real hormonal influence. It should be avoided during the second part of the menstrual cycle.

In massage:
- Oily scalp: a few drops of clary sage essential oil mixed with shampoo to massage the scalp.
- Excessive perspiration: 5 drops of clary sage essential oil mixed with a teaspoon of vegetable oil, to spread in the palms of the hands, under the soles of the feet, under the armpits, according to the zone concerned.
- Skin inflammation, fungus: dilute 20% clary sage essential oil in a vegetable oil, for a local application.
- Hormonal imbalance, menstrual cycle disorder, too much menstruation, menstrual pain, spasms due to menstruation: dilute 2 ml of clary sage essential oil in 8 ml of vegetable oil (20%) and massage the lower abdomen .
- Hot flashes, menopause, pre-menopause: dilute a few drops of clary sage essential oil in a vegetable oil and massage the lower abdomen.

In olfaction
- Emotivity, mood swings during menstruation, relational tensions: 1 to 2 drops on a handkerchief

With bitter orange petitgrain essential oil for oily hair
With essential oils of tea tree, and noble laurel for oily skin
With the essential oils of black spruce, ginger against fatigue.
With ylang-ylang essential oil for female sexual fatigue.

Contraindication :

Do not use in pregnant or lactating women
Do not use in children under 15 years
Clary Sage essential oil is not toxic, but because of its estrogen-like action, it is only allowed in adults and adolescents.
Clary sage essential oil should not be used in cases of mastosis or fibroma. It is prohibited during all cancerous or hormone-dependent pathologies.

The oral route must only be used on a medical prescription.
Seek medical advice before use for people with asthma.
Do not use this essential oil for an extended period without the advice of a therapist.
The dermal route should be diluted if application is long term and on very sensitive skin.
This essential oil is authorized in diffusion and inhalation, however its smell is very particular.

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
