Botany: The clove tree is a tree native to Indonesia. These are the flower buds that are called cloves. Clove is one of the spices, perhaps the most popular but also the most mysterious. Its properties:

Recommended use:
- In massage: dilute two to three drops of essential oil of cloves in a vegetable oil to massage the back, the spine and the soles of the feet in case of flu, ENT or respiratory infection, cold
Dilute in a vegetable oil to massage the painful area. Arthritis, osteoarthritis, muscle pain, inflammation, rheumatism

- In the kitchen, to flavor soups, stews and marinades. Mix 1 drop in a spoon of olive oil. Watch out for his powerful taste.

- In diffusion: weakening of the immune system, convalescence, fatigue, infection. Anxiety, postpartum depression (no breastfeeding), impotence, lack of confidence, fear, drowsiness

- Oral: 1 drop diluted in 1 teaspoon of honey or vegetable oil, 1 to 2 times a day.

-It is prohibited in a bath and inhalation. To use it in diffusion, it must be mixed with other softer essential oils (essential oils of lemon, fine lavender, sweet orange)

Contraindication :
- Do not use in pregnant or lactating women
- Do not use in children under 12 years

The use of Clove essential oil is contraindicated if taken at the same time as anticoagulant drugs.
Hypertensive people should use it with the utmost caution as it can increase blood pressure.
The essential oil of cloves is dermocaustic. For all dermal use, it must be strongly diluted. : 2 drops of essential oil of clove for 15 drops of vegetable oil.
