Nepalese handmade paper is an ancient 2000-year-old technique, and one of the ancient traditional crafts of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. The bush Daphne (Lokta) used in its production is located between the altitude of 6500 feet. 9500 ft. and it is harvested every two to three years. By cutting its young stem one foot off the ground, the trees are kept alive and protect the ecological balance.
