Carnet rouge Stone Work 15x15

Nepalese handmade paper is an ancient 2000-year-old technique, and one of the ancient traditional crafts of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. The Bush Daphne (Lokta) used in its production is located between altitudes of 6500 to 9500 feet, and is harvested every two to three years. By cutting its young stem one foot off the ground, the trees are kept alive, thus protecting the ecological balance.

"Mahaguthi 'Crafts with Conscience" has been dedicated for more than a decade to support low income and economically disadvantaged producers in Nepal who produce beautiful creations of this kind. The proceeds from the sale of this product will go to support the rehabilitation of disadvantaged women and children, as well as the producers of Nepal.
