A QUALITY EXTRACTION PROCESS
The extracts of Ladrôme laboratory fresh plants come from a traditional know-how. They meet the manufacturing and control requirements of the Pharmacopoeia, from the manufacturing process to the conformity analysis of the final product. After the harvest, the plants are transformed: finely crushed, they macerate for at least three weeks in a mixture of water and organic alcohol; this mixture is stirred daily. This process makes it possible to extract the maximum of substances that are soluble in water and alcohol, the alcohol serving at the same time as a preservative. The solution thus obtained is decanted and filtered to obtain the plant extract which will then be packaged at the production site in Drôme.
Unlike modern chemical medicine that uses only isolated active ingredients, herbal medicine uses parts of plants or whole plants that act thanks to the multiplicity of their active components (called totum).
A plant extract or mother tincture is a hydroalcoholic solution concentrated in the active ingredients of a medicinal plant. After harvest, fresh plants are immediately macerated. Finely crushed, they macerate for at least three weeks in organic alcohol. The mixture is stirred daily. The solution thus obtained is then pressed, decanted and filtered to obtain the plant extract.
Each plant extract thus has particular properties due to its unique composition of active ingredients!
Simple and uncomplicated use
All fresh plant extracts from Ladrôme laboratory are equipped with a dropper plug for precise and easy use.It is
better to consume them diluted in a little water, fruit juice, in an infusion or tea.
It is advisable not to exceed the daily dose indicated, to respect the duration of the cure and to keep the extracts out of reach of children. Extracts are not recommended for children
under 6 years old. The Fresh Plant Extracts Ladrôme laboratory are food supplements. They should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Origin: France.

Botany: Originally from northern Europe, blackcurrant or cassissier is a shrub measuring between 1 m and 1.50 m. It has leaves with five lobes and jagged edges, flowers in corollas and, of course, berries falling in clusters. For medicinal use, the buds are harvested in early spring, the leaves in June and the fruits at maturity.
Blackcurrant was unknown to the ancient Greeks and Romans.
The first testimony on the therapeutic action of blackcurrant leaves is that of Hildegarde de Bingen, a high-ranking spiritual figure of the 12th century, who recommends them as an ointment to cure gout. Fresh leaves are also used rubbed against insect bites.
From the sixteenth century, it is cultivated in the west of France and in the Loire Valley under the name of "Cassetier Poitevins" or "pepper".
In 1571, 16th century botanist Gaspard Bauhin reported that black currant is grown as a table fruit.
The blackcurrant was quickly haloed with a strong medicinal reputation (virtues including stomachic and diuretic), the French considered in the eighteenth century as a panacea (against migraines, fever and rheumatism) and many planted a foot in their garden.
In 1712, Father Pierre Bailly de Montaran, born September 24, 1684 in Orleans Doctor of Sorbonne (1724), Chancellor of the University of Orleans, died in 1775, living in Bordeaux, wrote a book entitled "The admirable properties of blackcurrant "and an in-12 on" The virtues and properties of blackcurrant, with remedies to cure gout ".
In 1841, after a trip to Paris, where he is surprised by the fame of the ratafia of Neuilly, Auguste-Denis Lagoutte produces in Dijon the first liqueur of crème de cassis, known today in several countries.
In the 1980s, French farms in difficulty sought to diversify. The High Côtes de Bourgogne managed to mechanize the harvest and the maintenance of the blackcurrant, other regions began to plant it. A little later, in Burgundy, it was mostly farmers from the Saone Plain who chose this production. The yields of these new plantations being much higher than those of the shallow and stony soils of the Hautes Côtes, the farmers pioneers of the evolution of this traditional culture had more and more difficult to make profitable their production. On the other hand the surface of blackcurrant cultivation diminished over the years in favor of that of the vine which took back its rights, propelled by obtaining the AOC "burgundy high-rib-of-nights" and "burgundy-high" -Beach-of-Beaune ». The general evolution of agricultural structures meant that small fields of blackcurrant in traditional culture disappeared at the same time as "small farmers". Today, if the black of Burgundy did not quite leave his cradle, he went further to see other soils.

Its properties:

- Internal use
Anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic effects: blackcurrant reduces joint pain, rheumatism, arthritis, osteoarthritis and gout.
Diuretic effect: the buds participate in the elimination of waste and toxins; they can help with weight loss.

- External use
Calming properties: in gargles, blackcurrant leaves treat mouth ulcers and other disorders of the throat (hoarseness, sore throat). Floral water soothes skin irritations and allergies.

- Usual therapeutic indications
Joint pain, osteoarthritis, arthritis and gout, by the action of flavonoids. Fatigue, depression: blackcurrant is a general tonic. Flu, colds, sore throats and mouth conditions, thanks to vitamin C and berry tannins.

- Other therapeutic indications demonstrated
Light diarrhea, thanks to the tannins contained in the berries; skin irritations; allergic reactions.

Recommended use:
20 to 25 drops diluted in a drink, 3 times a day (or 3.8 ml per day), for 3 weeks.

Contraindication:
Blackcurrant is contraindicated to pregnant women.
No known adverse effects.

Precautions for use:
