Lemongrass (Java Citronnella) essential oil

The essential oil is a volatile and odoriferous substance secreted by aromatic plants. The secretory sacs can be located at the level of flowers, leaves, stems and twigs as roots or rhizomes.

Manufacturing: The essential oil of lemongrass Java is obtained by steam distillation.

Origin: Asia / Sri Lanka.

Botanical: Java citronella is an herb native to Indonesia. It has long, narrow leaves up to 2 m in length, which look like large perennial grasses. Lemongrass has a characteristic odor, little appreciated by insects: fresh, green and lemony scent reminiscent of melissa in some aspects.
What does a good lemongrass essential oil look like? Appearance: limpid mobile liquid / Color: light yellow / Odor: herbaceous and lemony

Its properties:
- Repellent anti mosquito
- Calming for insect bites
- Joint anti-inflammatory
- Cleans the air of viruses and bacteria and pollution of tobacco and bad smells
 - Fights excessive sweating: massage instead of a deodorant.

Recommended use:

Mosquito repellent
- Cutaneous: 1 drop of HE in 4 drops of vegetable oil on the exposed parts of the body.
- In diffusion: from 10 to 30 drop according to volume of the room, by ranges of 30min max.

- At night, put 2 drops of Ceylon citronella on the back of the neck of a pajamas or on the back of the pillow.

- Oral: 1 drop diluted in 1 teaspoon of honey or vegetable oil, 3 times a day.

Bad odors in the house
- In diffusion;
From 10 to 30 drops according to the volume of the piece;
By beaches of 30min maximum
Mosquito bite
- Dermal ;
1 drop of pure HE on the button or diluted in a sweet almond oil
- Joint pain

-In massage, diluted in a vegetable oil of support, treat the painful areas as well as the spine

Contraindications: Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, Do not use in children under 6 years

Note: It is best to test the essential oil before use (two drops in the elbow for at least 24 hours to check that there is no reaction).
