Chakra Crystal Singing Bowls
This crystal singing bowl of the highest quality is made from pure quartz powder which is heated to over 1700 degrees Celsius. When heated, the individual particles of quartz powder integrate and are then shaped into a bowl. These Chakra bowls include the selected notes (from root to crown chakra): C, D, E, F, G, A & B. They are decorated with a coloured lotus on the outside, corresponding to the chakra note.

Cleaning instructions: Clean with warm water and a lint-free cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Please note: the colouring is not water resistant.

Guide to playing a crystal singing bowl
Always place the bowl on the rubber ring for more stability and better sound. Using a mallet, gently tap the outer rim three times. Now gently rub the outer edge of the bowl in any direction with the neutral suede, rubber or silicone end of the mallet until the desired vibration is created. Vary the angle and speed for different tones. Remove the mallet for a lasting resonance of the bowl and experience the sound energy resonating in your body.

Some "Don'ts" for crystal singing bowls
Don't hit a bowl by hitting it too hard and playing it too loud. Unlike metal bowls, these crystal bowls can easily break, so handle them with care. Don't play two or more bowls very close together (at least 30 cm apart); this can cause a bowl to shatter. Do not drop a mallet - or any other heavy object - into the bowl. Never place a person's head inside a crystal bowl while playing. Do not hit or play a crystal bowl too hard near a person's head/ears.

Assembling a set of 7 chakra singing bowls
You can decide for yourself how you want to put together a set of 7 chakra bowls. For example, use the 20 cm bowls for the higher tones, and the 30 cm bowls for chakras 6 and 7. The larger bowls have a deeper sound and the sound lasts longer. But you can also take 7 bowls of the same diameter, one for each chakra. It all depends on your preference.

432 Hertz (Hz)
Sound and music consist of vibrations. The higher the number of vibrations per second, the higher the tone. The unit for this is the Hertz (Hz). 432 Hz is the natural "pitch" of the universe. This tone is interwoven in nature, in mathematics, in planetary orbits, in the whole universe. All classical music by Bach, Brahms, etc., was originally composed and performed using the 'standard' A (=A4) on 432Hz. Our "432 Hz" series of crystal singing bowls is also tuned in this way. This leads to the following frequencies in the tones we sell*:

C 4 = 257Hz
D 4 = 289Hz
E 4 = 324Hz
F 4 = 343Hz
G 4 = 385Hz
A 3 = 216Hz
B 3 = 244Hz

Not only are tones tuned to the 432 Hz scale more pleasing to the ear, but they also ensure a harmonious resonance of your whole 'being' with our planet and the universe. This natural resonance leads to a greater well-being of body and mind.

* A deviation of up to 4 Hz more or less is considered normal.
