What is a floral elixir according to Dr. Bach?

Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936) assumed that certain negative emotional states can have a detrimental effect on our bodily well-being. Thus, rather than directly relieving a physical dysfunction, he advocated the restoration of a psychological balance based on the use of 38 different flowers with harmonizing and positive strength.

This method does not claim to be the solution to all the physical or moral inconveniences that can be encountered but it can play a significant supporting role in case of emotional imbalance.

Overview

This flower heals those who let themselves be won over by discouragement or despair, having suffered from the adversities of life. They do not resign themselves to their condition and complain, feel resentment against themselves, against destiny and especially against others. They often do it out of habit or to show a victim's face. They judge life only in terms of social success and money. They find their destiny so unjust that the enthusiasm and energy they put into what they put into what they happily did before they went into a crisis is weakened.

The medicatrix nature has inscribed the therapy for these negative moods in the signage of Willow, the white willow with yellow shoots, whose origin is paramount. The yellow color of the male flowers represents a lively, extroverted, enthusiastic, brilliant shine and joy program. It is a program of brilliant mental openness, which definitely eliminates the tears of the face of these unsatisfied people, who only see the bad side of things and who hate their neighbor by feeling for him a resentment resentful, bitter and evil. The green color of the female flowers rekindles hope in the crying eyes. This positive attitude of openness allows these people to heal from their negative states, to assume with much awareness all the responsibilities of their previous existential failures. They enter into a relationship of cause and effect with the negative character typology of their nature.

The formal characteristics of the Willow confirm this typical attitude, symbolized by the branches inclined downwards. it precedes, however, a very strong upward energy recovery that is found in the sinuosity of the trunk. We are therefore faced with an extremely interesting character and unpredictable reactions.
