What is a floral elixir according to Dr. Bach?

Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936) assumed that certain negative emotional states can have a detrimental effect on our bodily well-being. Thus, rather than directly relieving a physical dysfunction, he advocated the restoration of a psychological balance based on the use of 38 different flowers with harmonizing and positive strength.

This method does not claim to be the solution to all the physical or moral inconveniences that can be encountered but it can play a significant supporting role in case of emotional imbalance.

Overview
This flower is suitable for those who, without any apparent motive, abandon themselves to resignation, passivity, drifting. They do nothing to improve their lives and bring him some joy. They vegetate in this solitary indifference, marked by a slight concealed sadness. They are very interested in present and concrete things. They give up the struggle for life and usually do not complain to others. The dog rose looks like these people. Its prickly condition confined in the solitude of steep slopes. He resignedly waiting for bedtime of the sun and the arrival of the night, symbol of death, of eternal nothingness. The Wild Rose Type will heal it, giving it the energy charge of its flowers with large corollas, whose color goes from white to pale red in passing through the light pink, who do not want to close at dusk waiting for death. There is in them the delicate perfume of joyful purity (in the white), of light tenderness (in the pink ) and also passionate and provocative ardor (in the red), all this is enough to avoid drifting in. The medicatrix nature endowed these flowers with feelings that give more than enough motivation for life to be lived with enthusiasm.
